Police & Thief (also spelled as Police and Thief) (Chinese: 警察与贼) is a 2004 Singaporean sitcom that airs on MediaCorp TV Channel 5. The sitcom tells the story of a single-father police officer whose neighbour is an ex-gangster. The two constantly bicker but sometimes help each other's families out. There is also slight friction between the children of the two characters, who attend the same school. From the second season onwards, Suhaimi Yusof's character (Dollah Kassim) is married to a domineering new wife. It is now into its sixth and final season (2010) where Sharon Wong replaces Margaret Lee as Mark Lee character (Lee Tok Kong)'s wife.
10 episodes of Season 1 was dubbed into Chinese and aired on MediaCorp TV Channel 8 in 2009, becoming the first ever English sitcom to be dubbed into Mandarin.
